Call for Participation
The Industry applications Day will be organised in the context of SdC 2006, week dedicated to Knowledge representation, reasoning and applications, that will be held in Nantes, France, 26-30 June 2006, with cooperation of the Artificial Intelligence French section (AFIA) and the CNRS GDR I3 (Intelligence-Interaction-Information).
SCOPE
The goal of the Industry applications Day is to present the current and foreseen needs in Business, Industry and Services to the top leading research community and technological solution providers in Knowledge based technology.
It will constitute a unique occasion to exchange and confront on actual cases the promises of knowledge based technology with the leading stakeholders. Moreover associated to the IC'2006, CITE 2006 conferences it gives the opportunity to keep up with the latest research agenda developments.
The SDC'06 Industry applications Day is designed to maximize cross-fertilization between research and industry. We will welcome actual business cases needs, vendor and analyst reports on the state of the commercial marketplace, and case study presentations from developers, implementers and customers.
The forum will include 2 invited presentations giving two visionary presentations from Research and Industry, a selection of key Use Cases from industrial leaders in diverse economical sectors, a presentation on the latest developments focused on Knowledge based Technology in the W3C arena and lastly it will also provide a technology showcase from industry.
The proceedings of this seminar will be published in electronic form on the SDC 2006 full proceedings CD.

Submissions
We invite the submission of practical experience and industry related papers. Submitted papers must be written in French or English and should not exceed 10 pages maximum. All submitted papers will be judged based on their quality, relevance, originality, significance, and soundness with regard to the specific focus of the Industry Day by two anonymous reviewers. Papers must be submitted directly by email in PDF or Doc format to anne.monceaux at eads.net et alain.leger at rd.francetelecom.com.
